Rocio Villalobos is Vice President of Conscious Capitalism Los Angeles (CCLA) and has been part of the chapter since day one—helping build it from the ground up into one of the most vibrant, forward-thinking communities for purpose-driven business in LA. Over the past decade, she’s helped shape the chapter’s voice, values, and culture—what many now call a true “network of networks.”
She’s also the Founder and Brand Strategist behind Gracely, a creative agency that helps conscious brands level up through sharp strategy, standout design, and serious heart. With 15+ years of experience leading creative teams, Rocio’s all about aligning purpose with performance—and building brands that don’t just look good, but do good.
Lisa Schenk, Ph.D. has over 20 years experience helping leaders, their teams, and their companies thrive. With a mission to make work work, Lisa helps teams build alignment, improve critical interpersonal dynamics, and create and sustain the behaviors that get results. A Ph.D. in Communication and five years at McKinsey & Company, led Lisa to build her consulting business on a foundation of data-driven diagnoses paired with deep understanding of human dynamics and complex systems. She has spent her entire career helping organizations work for people and holds firmly to the belief that by doing business well, we can make the world better.
In his relentless effort to deliver uncommon results, Dr. Steve Phillips has built an enviable reputation for his consulting services focusing on senior leadership off-sites that get results, strategic planning, designing and building high performance cultures, and executive leadership.
Steve has not only consulted for some of the most well-known companies in the world including Microsoft, PepsiCo, Viacom, Mattel, Boeing, and the LA Clippers, but also has extensive experience as a Senior Executive serving as the SVP Chief Talent Officer for a privately held 1B company with 10,000 employees. Additionally, Dr. Phillips has served on the faculties of Purdue, San Diego State, Pepperdine and USC, has written 7 highly informative books including the bestselling, The Team-Building Source Book and served as the President of both the Entrepreneurs Organization and the American Society of Training and Development. Steve received his Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from Purdue and his Masters of Science and Ph.D. from USC.
Katrina De Angelis is the Co-Founder of MILO Multifunctional, a personal care company reimagining the CPG industry through regeneration—prioritizing multifunctionality, reducing overconsumption, and restoring integrity not only to how products are made, marketed, and used, but also to the role of business within the broader ecosystem and economy. MILO is building a new standard for personal care—one that reduces waste, restores trust, and centers human and ecological well-being.
Katrina works at the intersection of conscious leadership, systems thinking, and brand strategy—helping founders, teams, and organizations build regenerative brands and cultures from the inside out. Through her consulting and convening work, she supports leaders in designing businesses rooted in value co-creation, collective well-being, and long-term systemic change.
Eva is the founder of ThinkWithAI, a platform that shows business operators and decision-makers how to use AI to think, plan, and execute at a higher level. Previously, Eva worked as a marketing strategist and writer for brands like ConvertKit, Shopify, DigitalMarketer and Zapier. In her previous role as Head of Marketing for a digital agency, she spearheaded campaigns that reactivated over $3M in client leads and played a key role in growing the “Why We Buy” newsletter to 56,000+ subscribers, earning Forbes recognition.
Sarah “Sax” is the founder of Creating Forward Studio, where she helps beauty, wellness, and lifestyle founders launch, grow and scale their business by developing their “Sticky Brand DNA” and “BFF-level” organic marketing strategies that drive sustainable success. With over 25 years of experience in brand development, marketing, and product strategy, she has worked across billion-dollar categories in fashion, beauty, and wellness. From celebrity Kate Hudson to grass-roots first time founders, Sax has shaped brands from concept to scale with a focus on cultivating community, needle-moving partnerships and cohesive brand storytelling.
Kristopher Karuna serves as the Chair of Impact Partnerships for Conscious Capitalism Los Angeles (CCLA), where he acts as a key bridge between the organization and the broader business community. A seasoned executive in Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Kris brings over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including founding and successfully selling his talent agency to UTA. He later transitioned into the social impact space, helping to grow Avocado Green Brands into a market leader in natural mattresses and home goods, as well as one of the nation’s top sustainable brands. Kris also serves on the Board of B Corp / B Lab LA and is passionate about connecting with conscious businesses and mission-driven entrepreneurs.
Benza Maman is a tech entrepreneur, conscious musician, and co-founder of Leap Year Learning, home to the #1 AI course on Udemy. He also founded Quantum Academy, an education platform that blends business strategy, personal development, and spiritual growth. With a background spanning AI, online education, and sound healing, Benza empowers conscious creators and lightworkers to build businesses that align with both purpose and profit. He brings a regenerative, holistic perspective to the Conscious Capitalism movement.
